The IYLF Global Recognition Awards follow a structured review process designed to recognize credible leadership, achievement, contribution, innovation and meaningful impact.

Recognition Is Based on Merit

Nomination does not automatically guarantee selection, recognition or an award. Every submission is reviewed according to eligibility, profile credibility, achievements, contribution, supporting evidence and alignment with IYLF values.

Payment does not guarantee or influence selection. Participation fees, where applicable, are communicated only after a nominee has received official selection confirmation.

A nomination should provide sufficient information and evidence for the IYLF team to conduct a fair and credible review.

Relevant documents, links, references, certificates, media coverage or project evidence should support the information provided.

Credibility & Conduct

The nominee should demonstrate responsible conduct, professional credibility and a positive reputation appropriate for IYLF recognition.

Verification Consent

The nominee or nominator should permit IYLF to verify information and request clarification or additional evidence where necessary.

Each nomination is reviewed holistically. Evaluation may vary according to the selected recognition category and whether the nominee is an individual or institution.

IYLF does not publish fixed percentage scores because different categories require different forms of achievement and evidence. Each nomination is considered in its appropriate professional and social context.

Selection Process

How the Review Process Works

Every nomination passes through a structured process before an official selection decision is communicated.

The nomination form is submitted with the nominee’s information, profile, achievements and supporting materials.

The IYLF team checks completeness, basic eligibility, category relevance and the credibility of the submitted profile.

Verification & Evaluation

Supporting evidence is assessed and additional documents, references or clarification may be requested.

Final Decision

Selected nominees receive an official confirmation letter with the approved recognition and ceremony instructions.

Review Integrity

When a Nomination May Not Proceed

A nomination may be declined, placed on hold or removed from consideration when important requirements are not met.

False, misleading or exaggerated information
Incomplete nomination or missing required information
Unverifiable achievements or unsupported claims
Duplicate, copied or misleading supporting materials
Failure to respond to verification requests
Conduct inconsistent with IYLF values or credibility
Important Principles

Selection, Payment & Final Authority

These principles protect the integrity and credibility of the IYLF Global Recognition Awards.

Merit-Based Review

Selection is based on the nominee’s profile, leadership, achievements, contribution, credibility, evidence and impact.

Payment Is Separate

Payment does not guarantee or influence selection. Applicable participation fees are shared only after official selection.

Final Committee Decision

The final category, recognition format, ceremony edition and selection decision remain subject to official committee approval.

The IYLF Global organizing and selection committee reserves the right to verify information, request additional evidence, recommend a different award category, postpone a decision or decline a nomination when eligibility and credibility requirements are not met.
